The war is exacerbating the suffering of an entire nation and traumatizing millions of children. The delivery of food, medicine, and other life-saving aid remains difficult and unsafe.

Everyone can participate. We facilitate contact between individuals, families, organizations, and companies in Germany and people and institutions in Ukraine. We reliably handle the documentation of the donation and, upon request, provide detailed reports, information, videos, photos, and contact persons.
How can I help?
With a monthly donation of your choice, you support:

A particularly vulnerable individual (e.g., senior citizens, people with disabilities or illnesses)

A social, medical, or educational institution
You can also make a one-time donation or ask us any questions you may have at your leisure. Organizations and companies can add a unique dimension to their social responsibility through a sponsorship, without any additional effort. We also ensure the continued support of your sponsored individuals through additional fundraising campaigns by the Ukraine Aid Donor Community. You can end your sponsorship at any time without giving a reason. Your donation is tax-deductible, and you will receive a donation receipt.
Who is behind the project?
This project is under the auspices of Ukraine-Hilfe Berlin. We have over 10 years of experience in providing humanitarian aid to the people of Ukraine, in-depth knowledge of the country and its people, and reliable partners. We offer our sponsors information sessions and organized meetings to facilitate networking and exchange.
Will my help actually reach its intended recipients?
Yes, we maintain ongoing contact with your sponsored individuals. Upon request, we can establish direct contact between sponsors and their sponsored individuals or organizations. All members of the sponsorship team work on a volunteer basis. We select secure and cost-effective direct transfers to your sponsored individuals' accounts, arrange for the transport of donated goods to Ukraine, and guarantee support from volunteers within our partner organizations.

Can I deduct a sponsorship for Ukraine from my taxes?
Yes, Ukraine-Hilfe Berlin eV is a registered non-profit organization. Every donation towards a sponsorship (Ukraine aid project) is fully tax-deductible. Thanks to a special regulation from the Ministry of Finance, your bank statement or transfer receipt is sufficient as simplified proof for your tax return – regardless of the amount.
