{"id":28726,"date":"2024-06-27T13:10:55","date_gmt":"2024-06-27T11:10:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ukraine-hilfe-berlin.de\/?p=28726"},"modified":"2024-07-03T18:05:04","modified_gmt":"2024-07-03T16:05:04","slug":"schutz-fur-sanitater-und-rettungswagen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ukraine-hilfe-berlin.de\/en\/schutz-fur-sanitater-und-rettungswagen\/","title":{"rendered":"Protection for paramedics and ambulances"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since Russia&#039;s invasion forces invaded the entire country of Ukraine, the <a href=\"https:\/\/who.int\/ukraine\/news\/item\/04-04-2024-triple-risk-of-harm-for-ukraine-s-health-transport-workers-over-other-health-care-staff--who-data-indicates\" title=\"\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">World Health Organization (WHO) almost 1,700 attacks<\/a> Emergency services were registered. Ambulances supplied by Ukraine Aid Berlin were also shot at, and people were killed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To better protect paramedics and the wounded, we are helping to procure fabric for camouflage nets. These nets will protect ambulances and evacuation vehicles from the occupiers&#039; criminal attacks. They are a vital contribution to protecting the lives of those who risk their own lives every day to help others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the donations for our <a href=\"https:\/\/ukraine-hilfe-berlin.de\/hilfsprojekte\/hilfe-fuer-die-feuerwehr\/\" title=\"\">Aid project for vehicle procurement<\/a> We have already been able to hand over 58 evacuation vehicles, 23 ambulances and 6 fire engines to lifesavers in Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\" style=\"margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--medium);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--medium)\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"de\" dir=\"ltr\">From February 2022 to April 2024, the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/WHO?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">@WHO<\/a> Nearly 1,700 attacks on rescue workers in the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Ukraine?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">#Ukraine<\/a> Registered.
