We raised \u20ac4,000 in donations for the loading and transport of a power transformer. The transformer has now arrived in Ukraine and is ensuring a reliable power supply. This unit replaces a transformer that was destroyed by Russian attacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The delivery consists of a transformer station with two transformers, each with a capacity of 630 kilovolt-amperes, as well as medium- and low-voltage systems. The entire station weighs a hefty 30 tons and is 6 meters long.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Importing the equipment proved more complicated than anticipated at short notice due to the implementation of revised customs regulations in Ukraine in December, aimed at combating corruption. The system has since been installed in the central Ukrainian city of Kremenchuk and is helping to stabilize the local power grid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Russia continues to attack Ukraine's power supply, causing significant damage. Especially now, in winter, it is crucial to restore it as best as possible and alleviate the suffering of the population. We thank all involved, donors, and supporters who made this vital aid delivery possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
