Vast amounts of water from the 2,500-square-kilometer reservoir flooded large areas downstream of the dam. The city and region of Kherson were also affected.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Many people and animals are trapped and need to be evacuated. To rescue them, the Kherson Disaster and Emergency Services (DSNS) urgently needs inflatable boats with outboard motors.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We reacted immediately and financed two evacuation boats. The four-meter-long inflatable boats, type Kolibri 400D, with Suzuki outboard motors, each cost 3,400 euros.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These additional aid supplies will now be <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">urgently needed:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Motor pumps<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rescue and search drones<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Foodstuffs (e.g. canned goods)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Baby and children&#039;s food<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Life jackets and protective vests<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Waders (rubber trousers) and wading boots<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>hygiene products<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We need your support for this. <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Help with the rescue now and <a href=\"https:\/\/ukraine-hilfe-berlin.de\/en\/spende\/\">Donate directly here<\/a> or at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paypal.com\/DE\/fundraiser\/charity\/4219924\">PayPal<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We continue to accept donations of goods at our collection points.
