Thanks to donations from the Berlin School on the Hill and the cooperation with the Ukraine Aid Berlin eV, the organization was able to carry out its work in the summer of 2022. Ukrainian Orthodox Church Community eV.<\/a> to support a summer camp for Ukrainian children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the previous location for the summer camp became inaccessible, the children traveled to the Dniester Gorge, one of the seven natural wonders of Ukraine!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The organizers initially planned the camp for 20 children who had either lost a parent in the war or whose parents had been injured in the war and could no longer provide for their families. However, after the appeal, 44 children applied for the camp. The organizers didn't want to turn any of the children away, which led to an intensive search for further donations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The search had a heartwarming and successful ending! All the children were able to go and enjoy a wonderful summer camp together!<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
