Large parts of the power grid are destroyed, and electricity is being rationed. Emergency services and the Ukrainian disaster relief agency also rely on generators and power storage units for emergency calls and communication. But the rescue operations are becoming increasingly dangerous: evacuation vehicles and even ambulances are increasingly targeted by Russian drone attacks. To protect rescuers and evacuees, we are equipping ambulances and evacuation vehicles with jamming devices. Russian troops left them behind in massive numbers during their retreat from occupied territories and along the front line. Now, these deadly explosive devices must be cleared as quickly as possible. But mines are often barely visible to the naked eye. That&#039;s why we&#039;re helping Ukrainian rescue services with special drones for mine detection. During the day, the explosive devices heat up in the sun. Using the drones&#039; thermal imaging cameras, search teams can locate them and ultimately neutralize them.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\" style=\"padding-top:2rem;padding-bottom:2rem\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns alignwide is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-4ce2a1d0 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 id=\"schutz-fur-die-helfer\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"margin-bottom:1.25rem\">Protection for the helpers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-bottom:1.5rem\">In southern and eastern Ukraine, paramedics and police are evacuating civilians from conflict zones \u2013 often under fire from Russian troops and drone attacks. To protect themselves and continue saving lives, these aid workers need high-quality protective vests and helmets. However, the need is great, and many rescue workers in Ukraine lack adequate protection.
